Skins shoot

Here's my 'skins' shoot from Scotland on Sunday's Spectrum Magazine last week.

It was all about fur, leather and animal print shot at Summerhall in Edinburgh. The former vet hospital still houses kennels, dissection rooms and beautiful wooden lecture theatres but now it is home to artist studios and exhibition space.

It was the obvious choice of venue when I was coming up with the treatment for the shoot. The creepy class rooms where students learned how to become vets seemed rather fitting....

I particularly loved this shoot because I got to show off some amazing Scottish talent such as Hayley Scanlan and Isolated Heros (Hayley's is the yellow snake skin two piece and IH are the two colourful faux fur coats) along side design icons such as DVF and Issey Miyake.
