I'm lovin me a bit of River Island

River Island are really ramping up the style stakes at the moment. With a new designer at the helm I defy anyone not to fall in love with these little gems. Especially that 60's inspired black and gold jumper dress. Faboose!

festival fun

styled a shoot earlier this month with five of the most fashionable comedians that the fringe has to offer. Note to self, never work with children, animals or COMEDIANS!! Kidding...

Here's Jim Jeffries, Dave Hill, Sam Simmons, Arj Barker and Ali Hall all getting their fashionista on.

50s fashion on The Hour calls for 50s hair

The beauty that is our hair and make-up gal, Alexis, created this ace do for my 50s fashion section this week on The Hour. She just shoved some GHD's over it and transformed me. I do love her work!

The feathers are from Primark, £3.00 each, bargain!

Vintage At Goodwood - part two

Book to launch with the help from two people that I profiled in 'A Girl's Guide To Vintage'.

George Lamb gabs about his dapper dressed Grandfather, who would never leave the house unless he was suited and booted.

While Wayne Hemingway chats about his love for a Blue Peter jumper he found at a jumble sale in the 80's that cost him 20p.

Vintage At Goodwood - part one

had the most wonderful weekend in the beauty that was Vintage At Goodwood.

With two fashion shows to style, co-ordinate&curate plus a book to launch it was a pretty full on weekend.

Here's a peek at my mods v rockers models, a dress I designed that Mr Wayne Hemingway himself voted the best out of a dress making competition (rather nice of him), a model in my fur who wore it better than me! And my lovely assistant Louise getting her groove on after a hard days fashion in The Soul Casino.

Having vintage withdrawals already - no one is this well dressed in real life....

Spoiled rotten by Sally-Ann Provan

Had a lovely little pre publication launch for my book 'A Girl's Guide To Vintage' this week. The great and good of Edinburgh turned out in force to support me which was mind blowing.

Amongst my guests was Sally-Ann Provan, milliner extraordinaire. I featured her and her fabulous hats in the book and much to my surprise she turned up to the party holding a wee gift for me....

Cameo is all mine - and I love her!

I shot the hat (along with my other love Butterfly Button) for the book - below is a sneaky wee pick from the book for you to see...
